The service provided by the operator was praised for being attentive and accommodating to passengers' needs, even in challenging weather conditions. However, multiple reviews mentioned significant delays in departure times, causing inconvenience to customers who had to wait longer than expected for the bus.
Transitliner didn't pitch at the pickup point, 3 hours after standing in the cold we were told to go to Germiston. Eventually the bus left around 10 pm, it broke down in Mt Frere and we are still there now its close to 12. Terrible terrible experience I can't describe.

The bus broke down at Mzimkhulu where we had to wait for 3 hours before the mechanic came. There’s only one driver and that’s very risky. When the bus broke down, the driver didn’t even address us as passengers until few individuals went out to see why are we stopping for that long.

The weather was bad from Eastern Cape but the driver was very coutios and we kept on asking for heater when we feeling hot we would ask for aircon but he tollarated all that, and bathroom breaks I'm very pleased to let u knw that his service was so great, he kept on checking up on us, its so sad that I forgot to ask his name but when we landed I spoke to him thanking him for his exceptional service 😊😊🙏
