Amtrak User Reviews
Amtrak is praised for its friendly and competent staff, as well as comfortable seating. However, some users have noted that the train cars can be quite cold. Additionally, there are mentions of delays affecting meal availability and difficulties in locating trains before departure.
Drivers were amazing (1 in training I believe) No curbs, no heavy breaking, friendly. The only thing I noticed negative was; no charging ports at seats or wifi. In all fairness; I only expected those things because of the side of the bus saying it was available. I don't know if those amenities were Included with booking. (Why I didn't deduct stars)

So long trip, almost 22 hours trip and not good food to buy. They should have at least a TV on board like planes does ,kind of uncomfortable journey. Amtrak Needs to upgrade services we are in the modern life.

Absolutely great. Except in Seattle the floor announcer lied/didn't know what he was talking about, when he said in the inbound bus was still at the border, we should transfer to the rail. The bus turned up five minutes later.

Overall, everything worked. I ordered a bus ticket, the bus was on time, I got where I had to be. BUT...the bus was old, the seats were dirty and very uncomfortable and the ride was very rough. It felt like the bus had no shock absorbers of any kind. By now, I would have thought bus suspension technology existed to make for a comfortable bus ride. Maybe it does exist, but Amtrak won't upgrade their bus fleet.

Loved how friendly the staff were as well as helpful too. Not too sure about 2 homeless ladies in the waiting area arguing.

The train was delayed 5 hours initially, and then broke down causing another two hour delay. My ride does not live in the city, had to drive out and then was forced to wait for several hours.
