Amtrak Washington Newark recent customer reviews
Smooth journey overall but did not announce my stop on the PA system, causing me to miss it.

First ever, it was a very good experience except the dismount. There was/is no guidance on the duration of stop at Newark - our destination. As a result, before we would dismount alongside accompanying kids, the train left for New York Station. That added a lot of distress and increased the travel time by over one hour.

There was no air conditioning in the quiet car. This made the trip a bit uncomfortable.
