It was good. But the check in process was a bit unclear as 3 buses checking in the gate 20 at the same time.

Took me to a different bus station in Oaxaca than the one i booked which caused me to take another taxi to my hotel because it was too far to walk.

It was a safe way to travel but the driver played loud music the entire way. It was an overnight bus and we got no sleep.

The road up untill Bacalar was very bad, with a comfortable bus this would not have been an issue. Combined with a constantly crying baby, all these things can be blamed on bad luck or bad circumstances.. BUT: the bus was uncomfortable at most, the seat did not recline, the bottom seat was loose, the driver drove like his house was on fire while blasting his tunes, switching the airco from hot to freezing.. Needless to say: we had no sleep on a nightbus.. The lack of toilets did not help either on this 13 hour drive.. To add insult to injury we had to dig for our luggage once we reached our destination in a complete pile of chaotic luggage. While the driver did no effort to assist. Next time we will book ADO again.
