However, some reviews mention issues such as unclear boarding information, occasional delays due to traffic or other factors, loud TV or music on board, less comfortable seating during long trips at night without a toilet facility available onboard.

The road up untill Bacalar was very bad, with a comfortable bus this would not have been an issue. Combined with a constantly crying baby, all these things can be blamed on bad luck or bad circumstances.. BUT: the bus was uncomfortable at most, the seat did not recline, the bottom seat was loose, the driver drove like his house was on fire while blasting his tunes, switching the airco from hot to freezing.. Needless to say: we had no sleep on a nightbus.. The lack of toilets did not help either on this 13 hour drive.. To add insult to injury we had to dig for our luggage once we reached our destination in a complete pile of chaotic luggage. While the driver did no effort to assist. Next time we will book ADO again.
