Bus Tickets from Calgary Downtown to Edmonton

I enjoyed how easy and convenient it was to get my bus tickey and make my way to Edmonton, I just had one peeve which is that the bathroom was out of order during my ride. Other than that it was good.

There is no information about where commuters will wait for the bus . I was trecking all around the location without a definitive guide nor information of the bus

Normally Rider Express is great, however on this ride the driver was overtly rude to this woman with a small dog. Instead of asking if the rest of the passengers were okay with the dog on the owners lap, he forced the dog to be in a soft carrier bag down with the luggage. Throughout the first half of the trip, the dog was crying and howling the whole time. In Red Deer, the dog was trembling and traumatized. After I stepped in to help keep him calm and level headed, we insisted he checked in with the other passengers if they were okay for the dog to be up with the owner for the rest of the trip; no one had a problem- however this driver kept looking for one. Thankfully, the dog stayed up and was much happier and SAFER. Instead of being helpful and solving a problem, he kept trying to assert his dominance over this woman, and put his personal feelings ahead of the actual rules of the company. He unnecessarily made it a hellish trip for both the owner and the dog.

Bus arrived late, pick up point has no waiting area. Bus was run down and seats are not comfortable.

The driver is on time and very nice. But when we have our first stop at red deer, there’s a drunk passenger came on board. Passenger clearly not in normal behaviour. During our trip he disturbed some passengers and the driver while driving which might cause distraction and accidents. I really wish there’s a cold shot policy to reject drunk passengers for safety of everyone.

Bus was an hour late and we arrived in Edmonton two hours after our expected arrival time! No way of contacting them as the phone call always cuts off, doesn’t even ring.

The driver is not nice. She was not allowed passenger had short break when stopped at Red Deer. She was off bus to Tim Hotten, and locked the bus door. No passages were able to out of bus, she drove again after she was back. It was not fair to passengers.

The ride was pretty good and smooth. What I didn’t like was the bus was too hot for 1/2 the ride. Also the drop off point was not where my ticket indicated so my person picking me up had to find the new location. This has happened before.

I took a bus Mar 29th from from Calgary to Edmonton at 9:45am. The bus driver seemed friendly. Help passengers load their luggage and checked everyone in. I was sitting in the 2nd row from the front of the bus. As we arrived to the airport stop in Edmonton he turns around and tells the lady in the front row. We have 3 passengers getting off at the stop. 1 passenger gets off but 2 didn’t know where we were as they were sitting at the back of the bus. So instead of announcing to the bus the stop we are at he just drove off. After we left the airport stop a passenger came up to the front of the bus and asked, did I miss the airport spot. The bus driver said yes. The passenger asked why he didn’t announce the stop and the bus driver’s response was I’m not your mom. He was so rude and absolutely made no effort to help a passenger. It felt like he was happy the 2 passengers missed there stop. He then proceeded to get mad at the passenger for standing and told him to still down. Oh btw the bus we were in heat wasn’t working and we had to switch buses. I’m totally fine with this as this wasn’t in anyone’s control but the bus driver thinking it’s not his job to announce the stop we are at to the whole bus is absolutely ridiculous and makes your whole company look bad.

The trip was on time. In fact, we arrived 5 minutes early which was helpful in buying me some time for my resumption at work! The driver was kind and professional!!

I missed my bus schedule for 12:10pm today because I wasn’t able to locate the bus station on time at the Sunridge Mall. So I took a cab to the downtown location to catch the 3pm bus. The bus driver was so inflexible and doesn’t allow me to use the existing bus ticket but insisted that l have to purchase a new bus ticket. I find it too unreasonable and un-accommodating.

The driver was very rude and he was cursing on me for no reason all I asked was for a direction since I'm new to the city.
