New York Trailways has received positive feedback for the professionalism of its drivers, who are noted to be great at their jobs. However, some users have reported delays in arrival times and a lack of communication during waits. Additionally, there were concerns about overly cold air conditioning making the journey uncomfortable for some passengers.
Trailways is a very efficient bus service. They always brief their customers en route to their destination. The buses are very clean as well. The staff is very professional. I highly recommend their bus service.

Seating, charging stations and wifi facilities were great but lateness is a major issue. The bus was never early; not for departure nor arrival. The ETA to NYC was 7:10am. We got there 8:15 am. I planned my trip with that time in mind as I had plans. Being an hour late threw my plans out of whack and I had to be scrambling to do damage control. Ironically, if a passenger is late he or she is left stranded without any mercy or grace shown. I witnessed this on my trip up to Buffalo. A man and his son arrived just as the bus was pulling out after being over 1/2 hour late. The driver could simply have stopped, braked, opened the door and allowed them in. They had no luggage that I could see. He kept driving, leaving them stranded forgetting that we just waited on him over half hour late. Noone made a fuss or said anything. 😮💨

Horrible. Store listed as stop was not the bus stop and it drove right past us without stopping.

The bus was very new, and the drivers were both very personable and fun to ride with.

Horrible. We were supposed to stop in Buffalo for 5 minutes and change bus drivers at 11pm. The driver didn't show up for over an hour. There was nobody from New York Trailways that could be reached through the app or by phone call who could actually do something about it as office didn't open again until 9am. We just had to wait for an indefinite amount of time. We finally left over 1.5 hour later than initially scheduled.

Awful. Bus waited much longer than necessary in Schenectady for a no show. Part of the cause for late arrival in Albany. Another bus driver was riding to Albany (driver for a NYC bus connection). He talked non-stop, confused our driver at Oneonta & Cobleskill, then distracted our driver who missed the SUNY Albany exit, we were 20min late UNNECESSARY!!!
