Ebus User Reviews
Ebus receives praise for its clean and spacious buses, providing a generally comfortable travel experience. However, some users have noted issues such as delays in arrival times and communication gaps from drivers regarding changes or procedures during the journey. Additionally, there are concerns about icy conditions at certain stops and occasional lapses in bus cleanliness on specific routes.
I was fortunate to ride on one of your new buses and that was very nice. The driver was professional, and also I appreciated that he went over all key points besides our seat belts, items in overhead, alcohol, smoking etc.He also mentioned for respect for all passengers, using headphones when using our devices and not using speaker on cell . The driver was polite but clear on all points and I appreciate that as I find sometimes drivers are not consistent with those points.

The whole trip was amazing. What made it three star is there was a one guy passenger who talks through his phone the whole trip like a megaphone. We almost reached Vernon before th driver has to speak up and say, “Can the one who talks too loud lower it a bit for the whole bus can hear you?”

I had a bus trip that included a transfer & originally scheduled to take just over 10 hours. At the end of the first leg, the bus driver said that all the passengers transferring to the bus for my final destination had to wait 1 1/2 hours for the second leg. As it turns out this was incorrect. It was simply wrong information. I waited with my fellow riders going to my destination to be told we'd missed the correct bus by an hour(!). We were issued tickets for the now available bus to our destination. They made it seem like they were being generous for not charging us for the ticket. This second bus was not an express bus. In all, my trip took almost 3 hours longer than it should have.

Very professional this bus was very good price. The guy was efficient and we ended up being a little bit early to our destination. He was quick and efficient with getting the bags on and off the bus. Very nice gentleman he did a very good job.

Ebus FAQ
Here at Busbud, our unique selling point is to offer our travellers the best and most affordable bus services. For an even more affordable experience, we encourage our travellers to book well in advance as tickets are far more affordable when booked in advance. Your best bet would be to book your trip more than three days in advance.
EBus offers travellers the option to pay for refundable and non-refundable tickets. Unfortunately, all Alberta route tickets are non-refundable; however, British Columbia routes allow for a bit of flexibility. For an extra fee, you can book British Columbia trips that will enable you to change ticket details and be refundable.
Yes! Whether you're using the standard or chartered line, all passengers will have access to the complimentary WiFi connection available to everyone. A word of advice would be to try and download all the shows and movies you'd like to watch while travelling because the connection can get lost or become poor in rural areas.
Yes! EBus does allow travellers to take on some heavy equipment to their destinations. You will be required to pay an extra fee for this though. Another thing to note is that you will have to cover the item as well just to avoid any damage to the item before, during, and after departure.
It would be ideal to be at the bus service at least 30 minutes before your departure to accommodate any delays, so you don't miss your trip. However, if you happen to be carrying any heavy or large items or equipment, it would be a good idea to arrive at least an hour before departure to allow time for your items to be covered and checked.
Yes, all EBus buses have a toilet on the bus. The toilets are typically located right at the back of the bus or somewhere near the middle door of the bus. Kindly note that because most buses don't have running water on them, having access to running water after using the toilet is not an option. Therefore, it would be a good idea to bring your own sanitizer on the bus.
Unfortunately, Ebus cannot guarantee empty seats to passengers however, it is possible to purchase extra seats at an additional charge of $25. Reservations can be made online or by phone at 1-800-232-1958
You don't need to stress yourself about having a printed ticket with you when you arrive at the bus station. Once you arrive, the system is already updated with your information, and all that's required is for you to produce your ID document for proof. That's it!
Complimentary WiFi,
Fold-down tray tables,
Power outlets and USB access on each bus seat,
Overhead TV screens.
The bus service also allows for a wheelchair-friendly experience.
EBus Lines and Classes
Though EBus doesn't host classes and lines like its sister company, Red Arrow, the bus service can still guarantee its travellers a satisfying and reliable experience. So far, EBus has two main lines, which include the standard onboarding experience and the chartered bus service experience.
Chartered Bus Service Experience
Should you wish to travel as a group, EBus also offers a bus service package to cater to a group initiative. With its chartered bus service, eBus allows groups to travel together in a customized manner. Here, comfort, safety, and flexibility are the main objectives of this line, and it's no surprise also to find that it aims to provide the most relaxing and entertaining time possible.
With the chartered bus service, EBus can take a group of up to 52 travellers with experienced and professional staff dedicated to making the trip more comfortable and attended to.
EBus Lines
As mentioned above, EBus offers its services to travellers situated in British Columbia and Alberta, covering over 60 cities. Despite it only catering to these two locations, travellers can delight in knowing that the service covers many routes within the two locations, making it a convenient option to consider when you're a traveller in either place.
