Bus from Guadalajara, MX to Bucerias: Tickets & Schedules

9 am bus Jan 26th did not show up - caused many problems- will not use again

I was dropped off alone after dark on the side of a road with no bus station or open stores with heavy bags and I'm 71 years old and I'm supposed to call my friend to pick me up and I don't even know where I am or speak Spanish. There was a bus station right across the highway from here but that was too inconvenient for them so they just dumped us all off on the side of the road! Irresponsible and dangerous because I could have been robbed or not had a SIM card yet to use a cell phone because I assumed I was going to a station as my ticket indicated. And there were too many stops along the way which made us very late

Bus was 15 minutes late arriving at the depot, departed 25 minutes after scheduled time. Trip was supposed to be 3 hours 47 minutes, ended up almost 5 hours. To be the scheduled duration, the trip would have to be a direct trip on the new highway, not with stops at all the coastal towns.

My bus never arrived. I waited 2 hours after the time it was due, and desk staff kept telling me that it was held up with the traffic, and that it would eventually arrive. I don't know if it ever did - someone who spoke Spanish and English stepped in and got the staff to put me on a Futura bus to the same destination.
