Bus Tickets from Cape Town to Johannesburg

Friendly bus drivers, left on time and actually arrived an hour earlier. We had multiple stops and breaks. Overall a good experience.

Horrible. Bus was late. Wrong bus came instead of Sleepliner. We had to wait 2 hours for sleepliner. Our sleepliner was not clean and it was unstable. Tyre burst ans we wait another 2.5 hours for mechanic. Heater was set to very hot unnecessarily, bus drivers refuse to switch heater off. Horrible experience at Intercape.

Time keeping 💯 Not working charging ports please make something about it anyway I did enjoy my trip.

I loved that the journey was smooth but as I was traveling for the first time I didn’t like that we arrived two hours late from the actual time.

The bus was comfortable and clean. The drivers took multiple breaks for rest and bathroom calls which I believe are very important when travelling for such long distances. The drivers were kind.

I booked a dreamliner got a premium or something which was not what I booked plus I was traveling with a baby we were sitting at the back close to the toilets which were smelling the whole time

Didn’t enjoy anything about it. First of all the bus was delayed and arrived late, secondly I was charged money for my luggage before getting on the bus, and last but not least the bus never left at all leading to me spending the night at the park station then woke up the next day and took a taxi back home.

Our bus was meant to leave Cape Town yesterday, 8th of April at 18:00. It arrived at 21:00. The same drivers who left Jhb for CPT had to drive back with us to Jhb. At 3:00am in Beaufort West we had a bus accident because the same driver fell asleep behind the wheel!!! Not only is negligence but totally unacceptable. They organised a bus to come rescue us after a back and forth with SAPS & emergency services. That rescue bus could only take us to Three sisters and we had to get another bus. It is currently 16:06 the 8th of April and the bus is now stationary in Bloem because we don’t have Fuel and there’s nothing the company can do. They not answering our calls nor do they care about us. A cheap bus and shout service. I don’t recommend it at all.

I had a terrible experience, I booked for a luxurious coach, and it came, just outside 3 sisters, we were told that we had to swap buses, and we got a very slow uncomfortable bus, we felt every bump along the way, could not even take a nap in that bus due to bumps, worse I paid fpr 4 seats, in that ragedy bus I had 3 seats forcing to carry my kids on my laps yet I had purchased a ticket for them. Never using them again

The driver left my wife, I couldn’t get any help i tried to call your office . The number doesn’t work keeps me on waiting. WhatsApp is low. Email is slow and the guy on email telling lies.. worse bus ever i will never book this for anyone or myself

I am currently injured however the drivers made sure that i am seated comfortably during my ride till we reached my destination. Buses are clean too

I have no complains it was super clean as well but it was late and we arrived late.

The bus was on time, the bus drivers were extremely friendly and made me feel comfortable and safe and they brought me home safely. The bus seats were very very comfortable.

Started of well when we left Cape Town, however as the bus got fuller ismtvwas evident that the bus was overbooked with some passengers having to sit on the stairs. Also we encountered a very dangerous situation when the bus was stoned, subsequently having to wait at the police station resulting in a 2 and a half hour delay in getting to Park station.

The drivers were superb ! They’ve got good customer service it’s just the seats of the bus are closely packed to each other making comfort very hard to get which made me when i got to Joburg my legs were hurting

Bus was supposed to leave at 18H30 and turned up at 20H00. 5 hrs later it was over heating. Had to hike from Lansburg to Bloem. Dreadful service

The bus stucked at beufortwest on the 22 december 2023 we waited 4 hours machan came and fix the bus they manage to drive 3km and it stucked on open veld we had no water and we waited on other 5hours before the rescue bus arrive finally it came. So it was poor service from 21 December 2023 and we arrive 23 December 2023

I did not enjoy from the very beginning they changed a bus and waiting time and the arrival time

The was nothing to enjoy bus was late after being n hour late we got stuck from 11pm until 2am that's when they send another bus it drive slowly with to many stops,we arrived at joburg 20:00 pm while arrival time was 14:00

I did not enjoy the fact that the bus did arrive in time at the departure and I arrived late to my departure and I missed my second trip from Johannesburg to mpumalanga

Was great the bus was clean but was very hot atleast they must switch off the heater during the day

the bus was 1 hour and 48minutes late, the bus is cold inside its freezing , it kept stopping for no reasons, and it would stand for long hours , arrival time was suppose to be at 08:15 but we got there at 3:58

I booked a 13h05 bus it arrived late at 19h00. It departed late either. We changed buses randomly from a better one to a poorer one. I traveled more hours than average hours to JHB from CPT

I didn’t enjoy anything with Delta Coaches. Firstly, the buses are unreliable, customer service from the agents is the worst. They beat up people for questioning them about their buses The buses get stuck and feel very unsafe

It was horrible experience with this bus, the bus was scheduled to arrive in Cape town station at 18:40 then it was late, the bus came to the station around 20:40. We ran out of diesel during our journey to Johannesburg, we had to wait for 2 hours to get money for fuel, the driver ran and left us in the bus for that 2 hours. It took the bus 29 hours to get to Johannesburg from Cape town

They're good drivers. BUT they are RUDE plus they make us walk to the station whereas Joburg is stout.

They left me in the garage in blomfontein while I was buying drinks egarage and I didn't even getmy luggage back Ive lost my everything my I'd.mi laptops my lisence that's poor service I have received from your drivers

It was very pleasurable. Very neat, just the aircons that didn't work, so it was a bit chilly at night. However, I wouldn't mind recommending it to a friend

The seat are too small , which makes me not to really enjoy my journey, the bus was late for pick up we end up arriving in the afternoon instead of the morning, besides all this the driver was driving so we'll the speed limit was fine

The bus not appeared. The employees of company wasn’t wearing uniforms. This guys told to take another bus of other company. It was very stressful

It was honestly awful, there were about 4/5 hours late. A woman got punched in the face for enquiring about it!

The fact that it’s communicated that the bus will pick us up at a certain stop, at a certain time. When we arrived at the spot, we were told that there is no busses that picks anyone up. We had to run around to find out where the bus stops, all contact numbers does not work at all… then there is the times communicated, the time communicated on the ticket states 2:15pm, only to find out that the bus would arrive at a total different pick up at 4-5 hours later! What a disappointment.

Worst trip ever, bus was delayed by nearly 2 hours. We were then charged money for our luggage even though our weight did not exceed 20kg p/p. Bus pulled over at some bush along the road and one of the passengers got bit by a snake wanting to relieve herself because the Bus toilet was locked all the way. The aircon wasn't working. One of the passengers got robbed with her bag and money because the driver refused to drop us off at park station. Guys please, under no circumstances take an illulabus!!! The worst ever.

That bus does exist. I wasted my money as the bus did pitch and the contact numbers provided are for someone who used to be employee of Hartley tours 5 years ago. I had to book another bus I lost the money that I booked with
